It’s only appropriate that I share this post today as I’m heading to Miami this evening with a handful of girlfriends and, thus, officially saying goodbye to our winter spent at the beach. Now time for spring at the beach! Edwin and I will always cherish this past winter as it was our first in Charleston (complete with lots of snow!) and our first with Maybelle.
We love going to the beach as much as possible for sunny afternoons and long beach walks in the spring and summer but Maybelle really got us out to the beach a bunch this winter, which was such a pleasant addition to our usual beach excursions. I always call Maybelle our beach babe because, like so many dogs, she LOVES the beach and can run, play, fetch, and swim for hours on end. We snapped these photos on one such evening in-between throws for Maybelle to fetch. I’m beyond thrilled about the arrival of spring but I’ll always cherish this winter spent at the beach.

A few weeks ago, I shared a whole post about how to style white jeans. I dove into everything from the 3 pairs of white jeans I always wear to scoop on slimming white jeans to white jean outfit ideas. I also shared that I recently purchased my first pair of Everlane jeans… the white jeans in this post! I’d had my eye on Everlane jeans for awhile before I finally pulled the tigger.
As all girls know, white jeans can be tricky. So I wanted to be sure before I added them to my closet. Well, I instantly fell in love with them once they arrived! I got the mid-rise cropped skinny white jeans (although I really want to try the high-rise version: regular, cropped). I loved the ankle cropped style because they always, without fail, look great with shoes. I’m talking all shoes from tennis shoes as seen here to heels to booties! The price of Everlane jeans is impossible to beat too, especially for the high quality denim!
My sweater (similar for less: one, two) is by one of my favorite brands for beautiful, classic, luxe sweaters, Demylee. Note: Demylee always releases the most gorgeous, cozy fair isle sweaters like the one I wore back in this fall post. I’ve said it a million times on R&R but I’m always partial to grey sweaters as the color always feels comforting and soothing to me. I also prefer grey sweaters because I think that grey, like white, is a nice neutral year round color! I’d wear this sweater in any month of the year assuming I’m in weather that allows for it.
My tennis shoes are about 5 years old but I still love and wear them all the time (last seen here). I adore the New Balance for J.Crew collaboration (clothing seen here) including these two current pairs of tennis shoes: one, two. My scarf is to die for! It’s easily one of my favorite purchases of 2018. I wear it constantly (last seen here)… honestly multiple times a week. It is so soft and currently on sale!
