This time of year in Charleston always gets me! I feel like the city speaks to my soul. I just melt over all the gorgeous blooms (my whole camera role on my iPhone is flowers!). There are so many different shares of pink, purple, and lavender around the city right now that photos don’t even do it justice. Plus, the azaleas and wisteria are just arriving to say hello, which are two of my favorite Charleston blooms! I went to happy hour with girls last week and snuck in a few minutes beforehand to snap these photos in my new favorite white midi skirt… I just had to with these pink flowers! P.S. if you’re in Charleston and looking for these flowers, they are on the corner of Meeting and Broad.

I have so many dresses that I’m trying to expand my closet and introduce more skirts. I started my trend toward skirts last spring and had so much fun styling them (which I see as a challenge sometimes) that my love for skirts is continuing this spring. I’m particularly drawn to ladylike midi skirts.
I like the length as it’s appropriate for every occasion but your ankles are still shown so the style still feels light and refreshing. I’ve had my eyes peeled for a great white midi skirt since being inspired by the look from a few photos I pinned on Pinterest so during the recent Shopbop sale I spotted, loved, and scooped up this white midi skirt.
I love the textured stripes and the wrap silhouette with the bow tie (the price isn’t horrible either)! To note for sizing: I’m usually a small or extra small and I originally ordered this skirt in a small but ended up exchanging it for a XS. I found a few other adorable white midi skirts here:
Y’all know I adore raffia and straw accessories. This purse is from last year (as seen here) but I found three very similar purses available here: one, two, three. I was so excited to reach for this purse again this year so I highly recommend the style! These raffia heels are new but I knew I had to have them and would wear them a ton because of a pair of raffia shoes I got last year (last seen this year here, similar here). I wore those low heels so much that I thought a pair of higher heels would find a lovely little spot in my closet.
This are my first pair of Rebecca de Ravenel earrings. I held off for so long (aka years!) because they are on the expensive side but I finally scooped them up for some of my special spring trips coming up (aka our honeymoon!). They definitely feel fun, beautiful, and special. I already cherish them! Speaking of statement earrings, I shared of bunch of other statement earrings last week (that are less expensive too!) in this post on statement earrings.
How cute is this blue top from Sea New York!? It was also a purchase from the recent Shopbop Sale (I told y’all I hit the Shopbop sales hard!). The bow on the front and the bows on the back are so precious. It also comes in marigold. The top looks so smart tucked into white jeans too!
