When one wedding season ends, another begins! With the start of fall just around the corner, it’s time to start thinking about what to wear to a fall wedding (I told you last week in my September Edit to be expecting this post!). I love dressing for a fall or winter wedding because I always feel like you can get a little more dressed up in the colder months with long dresses, rich velvet and jacquard fabrics, and gorgeous embellishments like sequins. I would advise you to love dark neutrals like black and navy but also to embrace autumn hues like burgundy and hunter green and to not be afraid of a bold dash of color like red. These three red dresses are all perfect: dressed up, short, and with pockets. In the fall, it’s often appropriate to wear short cocktail dresses and long formal dresses so you’ve got options! I’m heading to San Diego today for my last summer wedding and then it’s full steam ahead into fall wedding season!
