Walton & Rush Guest Post

I have a surprise for you today… my girlfriends from Walton & Rush are taking over Rhyme & Reason! Enjoy this lovely Walton & Rush guest post!

Hello everyone! We are guest posting today on Rhyme & Reason, and couldn’t be more excited! We write a Chicago fashion + lifestyle blog, Walton & Rush.  We are sisters, living in Chicago, and blogging about our evolving style and upcoming trends.

Jillian’s blog is one of our absolute favorite blogs to follow, not only because it is beautiful and well done, but also because she is one of my (Emily’s) closest friends. Since Rhyme & Reason talks a lot about LA style, and Walton & Rush talks about Chicago style, we thought it’d be fun to swap blogs today.

Today’s post is all about transitioning from winter to spring looks in Chicago. Since spring in Chicago is still pretty chilly, layering is very important. In Chicago, the weather changes quickly, so a light trench is always great to have. Although we may need to wear a lot more layers than all of you in LA, we can still incorporate spring colors into our wardrobe. We love blush pinks, nudes, and blues to add pops of color! Also, a big trend this spring is perforated bags – this Chloe side bag is perfect for spring and can easily be added to any look!

We hope you all love our picks, and we’d love for you to follow along with us at Walton & Rush! Thanks for reading, xx!
