Hi friends! I hope y’all had a wonderful long weekend! I worked all day yesterday, except for a visit to The Water Room (a beautiful non-toxic nail salon – I highly recommend it when in Charleston!), but it was so nice not having my email inbox fill up. Like most days recently, to get my nails done yesterday, I wore the cozy chic top I can’t stop wearing… aka my Dudley Stephens boatneck fleece! I’ve had my eye on Dudley Stephens for a few months now. But I hadn’t actually pulled the trigger on adding any of their fleeces to my closet until recently. Now that I have, I have no idea why I waited so long!
All of Dudley Stephens’ new spring styles and colors launched yesterday so there is so much goodness to browse and choose from!

Dudley Stephens
In case you aren’t familiar, I wanted to share a little about the whole (brilliant) idea behind the brand. I just love it! The two founding sisters of Dudley Stephens grew up on the Long Island Sound wearing cozy fleeces day-in and day-out. However, as they became adults, they were disappointed with the not-so-cute fleeces that they wanted to reach for but didn’t feel like wearing out and about anymore. So, their genius idea was hatched and they reimagined fleece in an elevated-for-everyday way meant to be worn for shore to city with ease. Don’t you just love that?! I feel like that description is the exact type of style I look for and try to embody so. I’m hooked. Plus, the brand is sustainable made in the United States from recycled yarn. Win, win!
The Cozy Chic Top I Can’t Stop Wearing
I was drawn to the fleece I scooped up because of the adorable boatneck. I think the boatneck style elevates the fleece to give it that chic touch, making it more than just a fleece. I’ve honestly worn mine, in ‘Ice Blue,’ to brunch, to dinner, to a meeting, to the dog park, to the beach on Sullivan’s Island, and to sleep. Haha! It also comes in a bunch more colors.
In the springtime, Edwin and I try to soak up as much of the glorious Charleston weather as possible, which means we go on bike rides 2-4 times a week. To go with my fleece, I slipped on white jeans (similar, similar) because, well, spring has sprung in Charleston! I also added on a blue and white stripe long sleeve tee underneath because this particular day was a bit chilly. Finally, I wore my trusty Thelma loafers, which are one of my tried and true wardrobe staples, and a Charleston hat (no sun spots, please!).
I also really love this ‘Cobble Hill’ style fleece (it has pockets!). And this ‘High-Low’ fleece style! Are you already a fan of Dudley Stephens? I’m discovering that the brand has a very true and loyal fan base (including me!). Which new styles and colors are you favorite!?
P.S. I can’t help but think that I can’t wait to have a little kiddo to wear their kids styles!
