For New Year’s, Edwin and I went to Park City, Utah with four of our best friends for a long weekend of skiing, hot tubbing, and strolling down Park City’s Main Street. Two of our friends got engaged on the trip on Main Street on New Year’s Eve night and it was an absolute blast! I’m over the moon for them and still reliving the happiness of the event! I feel so blessed, as a friend, to have been included in such a special moment for the couple. On our trip, we skied three full days but also spent two days on historic Main Street. Main Street adds so much charm to Park City and really makes it a city to love!

Classic Winter Outfit
For one of our Main Street days, I stepped out in a timeless neutral outfit that resembles a lot of what I wear in the winter. I scooped up this quilted coat way back when in July as part of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and I’m pleased to say that I’ve been getting a lot of wear out of it. I wore it our entire trip and have worn it on cold dog walks multiple times here in Charleston.
My coat is no longer available but I rounded up some similar styles below and I adore these two super similar quilted coats: one, two (#2 is also a super fresh coat style for spring!). Underneath my coat, I wore the softest new sweater I own, this delicious cashmere sweater from Club Monaco. I’ve been wearing it non-stop. The color os the sweater is ‘Praline,’ which I love! I’ll wear this sweater all winter and spring.
I completed my outfit with my favorite black coated jeans (last seen here!), one of my mom’s Burberry scarves that she lent me for the trip, and my tired-and-true Sorel snow boots. When I discovered Jen7 Jeans (a sister company of 7 for All Mankind jeans) this past fall, I immediately fell in love (also seen here). As such, these coated black jeans have been on heavy rotation this winter as the coated sheen gives them a touch of a dressy affect! I mentioned that my Burberry scarf is one of my mother’s older styles… I wish this pom pom style was available now. It’s so adorable, I’d buy it for myself! You can never go wrong with a Burberry scarf in classic camel, white, or rose though.
When in the area, strolling down Park City’s Main Street is a must!
The street is lined with yummy restaurants, super fun bars (No Name Saloon is always a wild time), and great shops. I love dining at Yuki Yama for sushi (we saw Jimmy Fallon there on this trip!). For a dozen or so other great restaurant recommendations, I suggest checking out this Park City & Deer Valley Guide. In terms of shopping, don’t miss Cake, Flight, Park City Mercantile, Root’d, Dolly’s Books & Gifts, and Atticus (great place to grab a coffee too).

Thanks so much Taylor! Park City is so gorgeous in the snow! I love color but sometimes it’s neutrals for the win in the winter. 🙂 Thanks for reading! xx
