Well, it’s official, Daylight Savings is here so I’m stepping into spring with arms wide open! Yes, the official first day of spring is a week away on March 20th but these long, light evenings are giving me all the spring feelings. Some gorgeous spring weather arrived in Charleston last week so I’m pulling out all of the sandals and sundresses I’ve been dying to wear. Nothing puts a pep in my step like some warm sunshine, bare legs, and a pair of fresh new sandals! I’ve been waiting for an excuse to wear these adorable gingham sandals and I think Daylight Savings was just the excuse I was looking for.

Stepping into Spring
Who is with me and ready to step into spring?! If you’re frantically nodding your head yes, then you’ll want to know about a new shoe collaboration for spring. I love when I see collaborations in the fashion industry between designers and brands I wear. So, I was super excited when I read that one of my favorite Italian-made shoe brands, M.Gemi, was partnering with Reese Witherspoon’s clothing line, Draper James, on a collection of luxury sandals for the spring season. I mean, how fun!? When I saw the collection, I immediately fell in love with the gingham sandals but all six pairs from the collection are gorgeous and incredibly wearable! I rounded them up for you below…
I decided to have a little extra fun with this outfit and print mix. I paired the adorable gingham sandals with this smart stripe shirtdress for a fresh spring look. It’s no secret that I love a shirtdress! This one is perfect in my book with it’s subtle fit and flare silhouette, stripe print, and waist tie bow. Reese just released a few other super cute blue and white spring dresses too so all my blue and white lovers can rejoice!
Need a little proof of how much I love both brands?
For starters, I’m so excited to see these braided sandals as part of the M.Gemi x Draper James collaboration because they are like my pair of sandals from two years ago (also come in gold). I still wear them constantly! I wore them tons on here and on Instagram including with this floral midi skirt outfit. Also, remember these coral M.Gemi heels? They are some of my most comfortable heels as are all M.Gemi shoes!
A few of my favorite Draper James blasts from the past include this guide to Charleston, this red top with Maybelle, this easy tote bag, and this plaid dress, and the time I met Reese Witherspoon!
I’m carrying a new purse that I truly haven’t put down since it arrived in the mail. I love straw, woven, and raffia purses for spring and summer but have never owned a white raffia purse so I instantly fell for this one. I adore the wooden handles too. It reminds me of the more expensive Carolina Santo Domingo raffia purses that I love but have never purchased because of the price. This purse is a perfect more affordable alternative!
