I’m so excited to share my first outfit from my recent trip to Palm Beach, Florida. My sister, Sarah, and I both stepped out one day in Tory Burch shift dresses in Palm Beach. The shift dresses were so perfect on our trip because they transitioned effortlessly from the beach to the pool to shopping to al fresco lunches. A dress that can be thrown over a bathing suit or paired perfectly with flats is my kind of dress, especially this time of year. I know we’ll be wearing our dresses through September! We snapped these photos around our hotel, which we can’t recommend enough so keep reading for more on our top recommendation for where to stay in Palm Beach!
I’m in love with the floral garden print of my shift dress! It’s one of Tory Burch’s main prints this season so she released it on more than a dozen different pieces. Each one is perfection! I’ve included a bunch of the pieces below. I also shared some similar raffia flats to the pair I’m wearing. Mine are a few years old from Jack Rogers so they aren’t available anymore but I love the five similar pairs I found for y’all that range from under $100 – $300:
So I always love traveling with my sister, Sarah, because she is quite literally a travel professional (more about her dream job here!). We have so much fun together in general but we also love checking out new hotels, researching and trying the best restaurants in our destination, and all the other things that come with travel planning!
Sarah’s Moroccan inspired blue and white shift dress is just too cute. Also the linen blend of her shift (and mine!) makes it the perfect dress to wear when transitioning from beachwear to daywear. Sarah completed her outfit with accessories from two of my favorite all-American brands, Jack Rogers and J.McLaughlin. Snag her whole look here:
Our annual mother daughter trip is always one of my favorite weekends of the year! It is one of the greatest gifts to be able to have dedicated time with my mom and my sister. This year, we picked Palm Beach because it is such an easy destination to get to from Charleston for my mom and me and from Atlanta for Sarah. We LOVED it. I’ll be sharing a full travel guide very soon so stay tuned!
In the meantime, I wanted to share a bit about where we stayed, The Colony Hotel, as that’s where we snapped these photos. The hotel is Palm Beach at its finest with major old school South Florida vibes and the dreamiest pink and green color palette. The hotel has delicious food, a perfect pool, and the cutest palm print theme. We had breakfast one morning next to Regis Philbin, ha! So I can’t recommend this charming hotel enough, especially for a girls trip!
