I’m excited to share today’s post, Santa Monica Stripes, because it features a new-to-me designer, CROSBY by Mollie Burch. The brand first came on my radar this spring when Mollie visited Charleston but it wasn’t until this summer that I wore the line myself and subsequently fell in love with this stripe jumpsuit. The jumpsuit comes in solid navy and a bright floral print too but it’s no surprise that I gravitated toward the blue and white stripe design! It was the perfect item to bring to California for the Fourth of July.

We were in the San Diego area for most of the Fourth of July week but we did get a little time in Santa Monica. I savored every second walking around my old neighborhood and seeing all the beautiful bougainvillea that were in bloom. California had a massive heat wave while we were in town, so this lightweight, breezy, sleeveless jumpsuit from CROSBY by Mollie Burch, was just what the weatherman called for. I wore it for a whole day around Santa Monica of running errands, lunching at Kreation, and catching up with friends. I slipped into an espadrille as the sun set for a delicious dinner out. The jumpsuit transitioned perfectly from day to night and was easy to pack too!
I accessorized with an all-American red, white, and blue straw tote bag and a pair of old pearl embellished sandals (similar, similar). Even though my purse is red, white, and blue, I carry it all summer long, not just around July 4th. It also comes in a mini version!
