There are so many streets in Charleston I love but one of my absolute favorites has to be Tradd Street. I have so many wonderful memories on Tradd Street so I always love shooting outfits along it. One of my favorite activities to do in Charleston is to go on walks through all the different neighborhoods. Allison and I spent a lot of time going on walks with our cameras and imagining all the history and stories behind each and every house and garden. We could and do literally talk for hours so neighborhood walks are right up our alley. On our trip, we sometimes headed out the door in our Lululemon but other times we got dressed up and did a fun walk on our way to cocktails and dinner with friends. We jokingly called this our primary colors in Charleston look because I dressed up in red, Allison wore yellow, and we shot in front of one of my favorite blue houses.
On Jillian: Top (also comes in white) / Skirt (more sizes here, also comes in a dress and a top) / Sandals (also come in blush) / Earrings / Purse
On Allison: Dress (also comes in a short version & I love this similar skirt) / Purse (from last year – similar, similar) / Sandals (old – similar, similar, similar)
My oh my, does Club Monaco have amazing clothing right now. They just released new arrivals in both their beach line and their occasion line to a great big round of applause from me! I love every single piece in both collections. I’m wearing the Hamisi Top (also comes in white) and the Zenzee Maxi Skirt (more sizes here), both of which I just love together. I also wore the top out with high-waisted white jeans (on sale!) and a pair of pom and tassel heels the other night to dinner at The Darling Oyster Bar with my family (as seen on my Instagram story in a snap with my brother). I have big plans to wear this skirt this summer on Nantucket too! I linked a bunch of other similar red pieces from Club Monaco that I’m loving right now! P.S. Club Monaco is offering up to 60% off right now for their Mid-Season Sale!
I styled my red outfit up with a pair of ombré statement earrings (Under $50 & comes in 6 colors!), raffia slides (they also come in blush), and my Cult Gaia bag (also love this one!). I love the ombré nature of the earrings because they go with red and pink outfits. Also, my slides are so comfortable that they feel like flats, I swear! My friend Gillian saw we wearing them and loved them so much that she
seriously jokingly tried to buy them off me!
Allison expertly wore one of my favorite spring colors, yellow. Yellow is such a ray of light in an outfit! The hue looks so beautiful against Allison’s olive skin tone… I just love it! The buttons on the front of her dress (under $80!) give it a fun picnic-esque vibe that I’ve been crushing on all spring (it also comes in a short version & I love this similar skirt). I love her dress so much that I can’t resist adding it to my wardrobe too! I linked a bunch of other gorgeous sunshiney yellow dresses for y’all here:
Allison completed her look with a picnic style purse that is just to die for! The purse is from J.McLaughlin (remember when I spilled the beans on my love for J.McLaughlin purses here!?) last year and still so perfectly on trend. I also love these four similar styled purses too: one, two, three, four.
