When I went through these photos, the feeling of “why don’t I live in Charleston!?” really flared up. It’s so picturesque and colorful! Nevertheless, I love taking outfit photos in different places I spend time and travel to. I do a lot of research before I ever go somewhere new and I think one of the best ways to get a sense of a destination is to see a real person living there or traveling there on a blog or on Instagram. I love being able to read about a place and see clothes set against the same backdrop! For this outfit, I shot it on Rainbow Row because I wanted Charleston to be featured in the post just as much as my outfit. I sported my pom pom tote in Charleston the whole time I was there – trips to the beach, farmer’s market runs, etc. It was a new piece I bought for spring and summer along with my mimosa espadrilles. Both make me feel like summer is just around the corner! Unfortunately, my espadrilles sold out but there are still tons of adorable designs left here and here. I wore this stripe pair both days last weekend!
You might feel like you can’t turn around without seeing me wearing an off the shoulder top or dress and you’d be right. It has definitely been one of my favorite styles for the last year! This off the shoulder top takes easy breezy dressing to the next level. I love throwing it on for a day running around town or a casual lunch with a girlfriend. It is billowy but I’ve always gravitated toward flowy pieces.
Tassels! My oh my, I’m loving my tassel earrings. The pair I’m wearing here are actually 5 years old but J.Crew has a super similar pair that is currently on sale and so, so cute. I scooped up the J.Crew ones in the blue shade… they make me want to dance! Hey, just about everything goes with a pom pom tote in Charleston!
