Oh goodness, is it just me or are schedules really filling up with calendars really getting booked? It’s that time of year again when it seems that everyone is so busy with work and social engagements. I, for one, am ready for some holiday spirit and for holiday parties and gatherings to kick up. There is nothing I love more than dressing for fall and winter and enjoying the holiday spirit around Charleston. I’m getting ahead of myself though. First up: an olive green pants outfit. Keep reading and I promise, by the end of this post you will be just as in love with these pants as I am.

Olive Green Pants Outfit
My outfit is really made complete with, you guessed it (!!), my olive green pants (old – similar, similar). The moment I saw these pants I flipped for them… clearly since I also snagged them in blush pink as seen here. I love that these pants can be styled for work or for fun. Honestly, I haven’t seen a better workwear pant all season so far! I added a light pink purse (last seen here) to this outfit because pink and green is one of my favorite color combinations. Since these pants are sadly sold out, I rounded up my favorite green pants from all around. Including, a mix of pant styles from olive green skinny pants and skinny jeans to dark green pants to classic chinos to wide leg pants.

How To Style Olive Green Pants
At first glance, these pants might not appear that versatile but they actually are! So many different pieces can be worn with olive green pants other than the main looks I went for with this outfit (leopard, plaid, and pink). In addition to a blazer, a denim jacket or a neutral suede jacket would pair perfectly. I highly recommend leopard and all animal prints with olive green. The combo channels a chic safari look, which I’m always in for! Also, a simple sweater paired with olive green pants would be perfection. Black (like the sweater I just mentioned) and other neutral colors work great with olive green. Whether it’s a neutral colored top, jacket, or shoe!
It is honestly so easy to sub out your standard blue jeans or a pair of black jeans for a fun green pant! Green pants can be work appropriate. These also make for a great casual outfit with a simple scoop neck t-shirt and loafers, sneakers, or ankle boots. I hope you now have some inspiration for wearing olive!

What are your favorite colors to wear during the fall? Are you a fan of wearing olive? Do you stick to more standard neutral colors or do you jump on the fall color palette bandwagon by wearing burgundy, merlot, mustard, marigold, russet orange, and poppy,? In my opinion, you really can’t go wrong! I would definitely encourage you to step outside of your comfort zone though if you’ve never experimented with fall shades of green like olive green and pistachio green. I guarantee you will receive tons of compliments and will get asked over and over again where your fall green pieces are from!

What is y’alls take on fall bottoms? Year after year, I make a little commitment to myself that I will really branch out from blue jeans and black jeans during the fall and winter months. Don’t get me wrong, you can’t beat either classic denim wash but both can also become wardrobe crutches that I get uninspired by quickly if I turn to them too frequently. Denim alternatives like paperbag pants (as seen on me in this post!), corduroy pants, and long or midi dresses and skirts paired over knee high or over the knee boots are amazing options that I turn to. Sometimes I even find myself reaching for my trusty blue jeans and I stop myself and challenge myself to put together an outfit that is a bit more creative like this olive green pants outfit. Am I alone here or are you nodding your head yes in agreement? I’d love to hear!

What do you think? Have I convinced you to give olive green pants or just fall green color tones a try yet? I hope the answer is yes! I always love to hear from y’all so leave me a comment or send me a DM on Instagram with a snap of you in your fall green pants. I feel so grateful every day to have such a wonderful community of readers! One of my greatest joys is connecting with each one of you on a one-on-one basis so reach out and stay in touch (about olive green pants or anything else, ha!).
