This spring, I have put my boys in a number of coordinating outfits so I wanted to dedicate a post to the topic for other mothers reading this who smile at the sight of their littles in matching clothing. Henry isn’t a newborn anymore but I’ve been dressing Rowan and Henry in coordinating looks since Henry’s newborn days so I thought I’d stretch the post back that far.
Here is a roundup of 10 newborn and toddler matching outfits that range from the newborn months through the baby months and into the toddler years. Littles can always match their big toddler siblings and look adorable! These matching outfits are perfect for everyday living, holidays, family photos, and everything in between. Matching Springtime Outfits
Spring has sprung! One of life’s little things that is making me the happiest right now is dressing my boys. After the winter months of bundling up, I am so happy to be dressing them in fantastic little spring outfits. I love seeing their arms and legs! Henry’s baby limbs are just the CUTEST. Two recent matching springtime outfits I have bought the boys are the precious carrot outfits they are wearing in the photos in this post – Henry is in the carrot bubble and Rowan is carrot polo set and carrying the carrot Easter basket – and the sweetest spring plaid outfits from Little English – Rowan has these shorts, this polo shirt, and this John John and Henry has this bubble, this peter pan collar bubble, and these shorts. Both are swoon-worthy.
Matching Summer Outfits
Summer loving, had me a blast! Little kiddos and babies in the summer are the cutest. For this roundup of baby, newborn and toddler matching outfits, I picked out the coordinating summer outfits based on a few themes: ice cream, coastal cuteness (i.e. crabs and sailboats), and Americana red, white, and blue. Rowan has the Oso and Me Bingo Shorts in multiple colors including the ice cream print. They are the cutest shorts out there. This summer, I am getting the shorts for Henry in the baby style along with the bucket hat so he can coordinate with his big brother.

What is more adorable than babies in swimsuits? I can’t get enough of my boys in their swimwear. We are big Minnow Swim fans in our house but I also have some Marsia swimwear for my boys. I don’t own any swimsuits from the brand Dear Georgie but I’m dying to buy some for my littles this summer because they are precious. Don’t forget hats and sunglasses for your littles!
Matching Après Swim Outfits
The only thing cuter than babies and toddlers in swimsuits is babies and toddlers in their après swim clothing after a dip in the pool or the ocean. When it comes to this category of children dressing, I’m all about the terry cloth! Easily match your little boys and girls of all ages in these adorable après swim outfits.
Matching Pajama Outfits
My children are probably most often matching or coordinating when they are wearing pajamas. It is so easy to buy newborn jammies and a matching set for toddlers (sets or nightgowns). When it comes to pajamas for littles, I will buy my boys a range of pajamas but I always come back to Petite Plume pajamas and LAKE pajamas. I just adore both brands so much, love their female founders, and truly can’t get enough of their products. Both are really high quality that hold up!
Matching Floral Outfits
Who says florals are just for little girls? I found a dozen or so whimsical and fun florals for little boys, little girls, and babies. Some of these florals are more punchy and vibrant while others are more ditsy and pastel. No matter the floral, they are all cute on littles. I also included a sweet pairing of a pink and tangerine floral print with a coordinating pink and tangerine gingham.
Matching Stripe Outfits
Matching stripe outfits for children might be the cutest traditional way to dress up siblings. Stripes will just never go out of style. Striped t-shirts, dresses, button-downs, john johns, shorts, bubbles, and rompers all make for a cohesive look while still allowing each child to express their individual style. Whether it’s a casual day out or a special occasion, matching stripe outfits are a great choice for siblings to look cute, stylish, and coordinating.

Dare I say I like littles in gingham more than any other print? Gingham can definitely be worn by adults (I do it all the time!) but gingham lends itself so so well to littles (and to the home, ha!). I’m a big fan of matching brothers outfits in my house, for obvious reasons. I love dressing my boys in button-down shirts and short, john johns, polo shirts, simple tees, or a combo of Rowan in a button-down shirt and Henry is a coordinating bubble.
