As the curtain falls on another year (honestly, how can this be!?), now it the perfect moment to both reflect on the journeys we’ve undertaken this year and to eagerly anticipate the fresh chapter that awaits starting on January 1st. For so many reasons, I can’t wait for the new year, am anxious for what’s to come in 2024. And have big ambitious new years energy. An approaching new year always brings with it the promise of new beginnings and exciting possibilities – I really enjoy this mindset that takes over every January and, while I was previously dreading the end of Christmas, I’m now really looking forward to embracing the new that is to come.
How we choose to welcome the new year is a very personal choice. Whether it’s a festive night at home with kids, a quiet night at home reflecting on and reminiscing about the past year, a lively celebration out with loved ones, or a grand dressy soirée, every person ushers in the new year in their own unique way. Since becoming a mother, my mood on New Year’s Eve changes every year – some years, I’m jonesing to be out celebrating with friends. And other years, all I can imagine doing is snuggling up with my littles at home. Both New Year’s Eves are perfect in their own way! So no matter how you spend the holiday, one way to set the tone for the festivities is by carefully selecting the perfect outfit, as what we wear has the power to elevate our mood and infuse the occasion with extra sparkle.
