Los Angeles, you’ve been so cool, chilly, and crisp lately! I’m absolutely loving being able to wear a peacoat out to dinner and a vest to work during the day. On most days, I’d say that navy is my favorite color so I’m perfectly comfortable layering navy on navy on navy. I think this button-down (sold out – similar) is perfect because I like the dark navy and hunter green tones. It’s so cute with a navy vest and a navy coat layered on top. Clearly, I’m all about the navy layers!
When I saw this vest, I fell in love (p.s. it’s 30% off!)! The corduroy trim is the perfect detailing. The vest comes in green too if that’s more your color or J.Crew has a handful of other great vests too including this other navy puffer vest (also 30% off!).
The corduroy trim on the vest tied in perfectly with my corduroy pants. These pants are so comfortable and yes, you’ve seen me wear them before with my fair isle sweater. I linked a handful of similar corduroys below.
I’ve had the same pair of Frye boots for 10 years. That is not an exaggeration! The pair I had honestly looked a little out of date so this year I decided to invest in a new pair. Frye boots are an investment so it helps to get them on sale (like me!). My pair are 35% off and I think they are the cutest pair Frye released all fall.
I have this peacoat in navy and in pink because I love it that much. I love the cropped length in comparison to the length of a longer knee-length coat. The gold buttons are the perfect touch. I think it looks great on people in different sizes – a size 0 is fitted on me and a size 2 is more of a boyfriend fit. I love both looks!
