I’m back to real life at work today after a great few days in Charleston. Life lately has been pretty great. I enjoyed a few fun weekends in Los Angeles, which was a refreshing change from traveling. During one of those weekends, my mom flew into town to help Edwin and I register for our wedding. However, all the time at home has also left me with a travel itch so I was way more than excited to jet to South Carolina last week. I also did a Be Well by Kelly smoothie and soup cleanse with Allison for a week, which was a fun personal challenge. Now that the first month of our wedding year is done, Edwin and I have been talking a lot about the future and what married life will be like. It’s honestly just a really exciting time for us and I feel so fortunate to be able to share some of it with y’all.

I spent some quality time at home in January which was such a nice change of pace before lots of February Travel.
Edwin and I tried out a new (to us) Australian restaurant, Bondi Harvest, for a healthy breakfast – so yummy!
My mom, Edwin, and I enjoyed some bubbles at Ladurée on a break from doing our wedding registry
Edwin and I jetted to Charleston for some wedding planning! Please can we have a pink house as a wedding present?!

Edwin and I took our engagement photos in Charleston with our wedding photographer, Viril Bunao… we love him! More to come! You won’t believe it but I had completedly bloody, cut up knees in these photos because I fell on a run the day before the photos… Virgil did a great job editing the cuts out!
Oh gosh, in my dream world, would I pick a blue house or a pink house in Charleston!?

I am so intrigued to try this cleanse! Did you make everything ahead of time or how did you manage keeping on track?
It was great and actually pretty easy! I added avocado to the top of a few of my soups to give me healthy fats and keep me full. I followed Be Well By Kelly’s smoothie formula (those smoothies always keep me full because they are packed with good stuff, not just fruit!). There is a healthy grocery in LA called Erewhon where I picked up some soups but it is also really easy to make soups with tons of veggies and chicken broth etc. Allison and I did the cleanse for the week and definitely felt like we lost a lot of bloat! You should try it! xx
Your Charleston trip sounds heavenly- I’m hoping to schedule a trip this summer! I would love to see a full recap post of your trip!
