Today I’m sharing my favorite winter shoes with you + plenty of inspiration for adding them to your closet + scoop on how to wear them. Without further adieu, I give you L.L. Bean Boots. First off, the most important piece of information you need to know… these boots sell out fast! I’m telling you, come Thanksgiving, you will not be able to get your hands on them for the rest of winter. Strike now! I have the 8 inch Bean Boots in tan/navy and I’m in love with them. If you do miss out on them, I have two similar boots that I also like: the Sperry Saltwater Boots and the Sorel Caribou Boots. When wearing Bean Boots, I think they look insanely adorable with camp socks worn over jeans (see below for inspiration). L.L. Bean sells a version of camp socks as well as J.Crew. I can tell you that I have and love the J.Crew camp socks!

How to Pick Which Bean Boot is Right for You
When picking a Bean Boot, keep in mind that the 6 inch style will hit you around the ankle so you won’t be sweating while wearing the boots in the fall or in everyday life. When temperatures start to drop, you might want the 8 inch style because it covers some leg so it is cozy and warm. Finally, the 10 inch style will hit your lower to middle calf and is meant for full-blown snowy days. The 10 inch style also looks super cute only laced halfway up (on a semi snowy day!).
