Fun Questions to Ask Your Significant Other Over a Glass of Wine

In 2022, Edwin and I will celebrate 12 years of being together, 5 years of marriage, and the arrival of our second child. It some ways, it feels like Edwin has been by my side my entire life and, in other ways, it feels like we just started our life together because time has flown by so much and because life is so rich with Edwin in it. To celebrate the arrival of our second child coming this spring, we’re taking a few days of much-needed rest and relaxation together starting today for our babymoon (more on our trip here)! I can’t tell you how excited I am for the few days of undivided time together to just enjoy each other’s company, talk, listen, and laugh.

Undoubtedly, we will talk about Rowan a ton and what we imagine life to be like with another little one in our family but, with four almost full days together, we will have lots of time to chat about other topics too. So in that spirit, I thought I’d share a few fun questions to ask your significant other over a glass of wine (or a mocktail in my case right now). These are all fun or thought-provoking questions that will lead you to interesting conversations and also might even teach you something new about your partner. Try a few on for size over a glass of wine this weekend!

The below photos are from Nantucket last summer… dreaming about that marvelous trip! I’m wearing the dress I wore in my pregnancy announcement for baby #2. It looks a little bit different on each occasion but the smocked back has allowed me to wear it this pregnancy.
