My oh my, Father’s Day is this Sunday! It really snuck up on me this year but I’m so looking forward to the opportunity to celebrate my wonderful dad this weekend! For my Father’s Day Gift Guide 2020, I consulted the experts: Edwin and my brother. So, I can guarantee that this gift guide has a little something for dad’s with all kinds of interests. If you haven’t picked up something for you dad yet, then I suggest you act now! Throw in overnight shipping and you’re golden for this weekend’s family holiday! I hope you find something perfect for your dad, father-in-law, or your husband if y’all are parents. Happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there!
P.S. This gift guide has a ton of other great gift ideas for men!
Father’s Day Gift Guide 2020
01Harlestons Polo Shirt
Harlestons is a new golf performance brand based right here in Charleston. My dad is a lifelong golfer so I can’t think of a better Father’s Day gift for him than a new golf tee. Harlestons is making a splash with their classic everyday lightweight performance polos so I know your dad will love them. P.S. they come in a bunch of different colors and are meant for taking men straight from work to the golf course.
I consulted my brother on this gift guide and he recommended this GPS watch with a built in range finder in it. Apparently my dad has it and loves it (who knew, ha!) for golf but it’s also great for off the golf course. The official description of the watch says it way better than I can: the AutoShot analyzer automatically records shot distances for post-round analysis, and the high-sensitivity GPS quickly calculates distances to greens, hazards, and doglegs for more than 40,000 preloaded courses around the world.
Y’all know I love the Charleston-based business, Old Whaling Co.! I’ve included them on R&R before and even gifted Old Whaling Co. holiday items to all my work relationships last December. For Father’s Day, Old Whaling Co. has created amazing gift sets based on their favorite scents for dads. I can’t decide which scent I like the most but maybe the ‘Oatmeal Milk & Honey.’
Kiehl’s makes Edwin’s favorite bath and body products (although I do want to get him into the men’s Beautycounter line). The Kiehl’s Body Fuel is an amazing product… it’s a hair and body wash for men for head-to-toe cleansing (aka all in one, which is what many men need, ha!).
Red Clay Hot Sauce is a staple in our house! Edwin loves the Red Clay Original Hot Sauce and claims their ‘Hot Honey’ is the best honey he’s ever had, no joke. For the dad who loves to cook, gift the ‘Whole Shebang’ set of Red Clay products. It will be a surefire hit!
Both Edwin and my dad have Big Green Eggs and are massive fans! Did you know that Green Egg has a bunch of different sizes? So, it doesn’t have to be a super expensive gift item. If you are looking to gift your dad or husband who is a dad the best grilling gift in the world that is decently priced, then look no further than the Small Big Green Egg (not the cheapest size but cheaper than the larger eggs).
My dad and Edwin both love to enjoy a great cigar a few times a year. This unique, bourbon-barrel aged set of cigars is hand-rolled and packaged in the USA. A great gift idea!
Edwin, my dad, and brother all three prefer money clips over traditional wallets. I love this handmade leather money clip wallet – it is so gorgeous! Such a classic gift idea for dads.
For my dad’s birthday this spring, we gave him two matchbook prints from his two favorite college bars in DC, The Tombs and Clyde’s. They were a hit! I love these matchbook prints as a gift idea – they have a college section (how great is this University of Colorado print!?) and a bunch of different matchbooks from locations around the US and the world.
Give dad the chance to walk through the clubhouses, fairways, and bunkers of some of the world’s best golf courses. From greens as old and hallowed as St Andrews to courses celebrating their first anniversary, this coffee table book covers it all and golf lovers will flip for it!
