Fall Basics

filed under:

As you know from yesterday’s post, I’m excited about a couple fall trends this season. However, while trends are wonderful, it’s hard to beat a couple fall basics for everyday dressing. I love a great pair of blue jeans and a crisp white top to greet cool fall air. I added a leather camel structured bag and a pop of pattern to complete the whole outfit. My top and loafers are both 30% off this weekend so keep reading to take advantage of the sale!

As I mentioned above, my ruffle top and leopard loafers are both 30% off through Sunday with code GOSHOP. I seriously love this top (also comes in chambray!) and have worn it once a week since I bought it. The first time I worn the top, I asked Edwin if he liked it and, instead of responding, he immediately told me not to move and he ran to his computer. He was so excited, he exclaimed “you’re wearing the puffy shirt!” I had no idea what “the puffy shirt” was but you can bet Edwin showed me… I about died but I’m still just as obsessed with the top! My loafers have been on repeat too as seen here. I really have my heart set on these flannel loafers too. IN LOVE WITH THEM.

It’s no secret that I like feminine details like ruffles. So, I wanted to share five other ruffle tops that I have my sights set on: one, two, three, four, five.

When you spot a beautiful structured leather bag that isn’t $1000, it’s hard not to find a spot for it in your closet. This purse is the perfect everyday bag that can easily be transitioned from work to after work drinks or dinner. I can fit my keys, phone, wallet, and even a camera in it so I really love to travel with it or carry it when I know I’m going to be out and about all day and night long. The leather just gets softer with wear too, which I love!

I’m really having a moment with “mom jeans” right now. They are so comfortable and a breath of fresh air from my usual skinny jeans. I snagged this pair in New York City from Sézane… I’m clearly not the only one who loves the jeans as they are almost sold out. However, I really love these two similar pairs: one, two.
