I think it’s safe to say that spring has officially arrived in Charleston! The city is starting to explode in color with beautiful blooms. One of my favorite parts of Charleston this time of year is the flowers. Every month something new comes into season. It brightens up the city in shades of pink, purple, yellow, and more. We’ve been spending as much time outside as possible and I’ve got this outing in my everyday white dress in Hampton Park to prove it (more sizes here, here, and here). Can you believe we’ve had weather so spectacular that no sweater is necessary?!

I’m always a fan of the flowy, bohemian silhouette (as seen here). I love the easy, breezy nature of this style of dress and at the end of the day, they are so darn comfortable, especially on warm days. So, when I saw this dress (more sizes here, here, and here) at the Ulla Johnson Trunk Show at Hampden a couple weeks ago, I knew I needed it in my arsenal of spring and summer dresses. I’ve already worn it three times, which is just the beginning. A little white dress is a big part of my warm weather wardrobe so I rounded up a few others I love right now:
You’ve seen me wear these espadrilles (also love this higher version) on R&R a handful of times already (last seen here and here) and I’m afraid that’s not going to stop anytime soon. I love them so much that I scooped up a new color this week during the HUGE Shopbop Sale! Espadrilles are my go-to shoe this time of year. There is no other shoe that can take you from day to night the same way. They are appropriate for all occasions and oh so comfortable! Did I mention they are a perfect travel shoe too?
Believe it or not, but I got this monogrammed tote (with my married monogram) in the summer of 2016 when Edwin and I were engaged but not married yet. We got married last October (not quite straw tote bag season). So I’m just now getting to carry it for the first time… I love it! It feels like I waited an eternity to bust it out! I got it at a pop-up show in the Hamptons so I couldn’t link to the exact one but this monogrammed straw tote is almost identical and comes in multiple different color options. It makes a perfect birthday or graduation gift for the monogram lover in your life too!
Can you think of a place more appropriate to wear my goldbug earrings (also love these) than blooming Hampton Park!? Some consider the goldbug to be the unofficial bird of the south. Yup, it’s actually a bug. So many unwanted bugs call the south home. I absolutely adore the Goldbug Collection and highly recommend any and all visitors to the Charleston area to shop it at Charleston’s over 100 years old family-owned jewelry store, Croghan’s Jewel Box, on King Street.
