The Hamptons
My family always jokes that our family has picked the best places to live and thus, the best places for us all to visit! One such place is Sag Harbor in the Hamptons. My aunt and uncle spend part of the year in Sag Harbor and I am lucky enough to get to visit every summer! I am biased but I think Sag Harbor is the best town in the Hamptons! It is a charming, historic, all-American little coastal town that offers so much up and down Main Street. The beauty of the Hamptons though is that there are a handful of very different little towns to explore including South Hampton, Sag Harbor, Bridgehampton, East Hampton, Amagansett, Montauk, and Shelter Island! Each town has a different vibe and energy so it’s impossible to not come away with a favorite!

Navy Beach
Navy Beach is one of my favorite places in Montauk. It's perfect to go to during the day to sip rosé and enjoy fish tacos while catching some sun on their beachside daybeds (they serve magnum size bottles of Whispering Angel!). It's also a happening dinner spot (make a reservation) and turns into a really fun bar at night. You can't miss here at any time of day! -
Eat
The Crow's Nest
The most gorgeous and yummy restaurant in Montauk. If you don't make a reservation, you'll have a wait but not to fear because the cocktails are delicious and the views are gorgeous by their outdoor fire pits. The menu is a seasonal seafood menu and is all locally-sourced. Fun fact: one night, I sat at a table between two Vogue editors and Neil Patrick Harris. -

Sunset Beach
The Hamptons at its best! Much of the Hamptons has become a place to be seen but not Sunset beach. It is a little more remote on Shelter Island (you take your car over on a ferry) so it doesn’t get as crowded. It has a yellow and white beach theme, is full of lush greenery, and has walls lined with vintage photos of the establishment. I love their seafood menu too! -
Eat
The Surf Lodge
Stop by for perfect outdoor patio seating, summer cocktails, live music, and an East Coast surf atmosphere. Beware, this is such a popular restaurant/bar that a line forms during the day and night on summer weekends (you can make reservations for the restaurant though!). Pop your head into their surf shop too for straw bags, colorful towels, caftans and more.

Wölffer Estate Vineyard or Wine Stand
Wine tasting in Sagaponack at Wölffer Estate Vineyard is one of my favorite ways to spend an afternoon in the Hamptons! Their rosé is delicious as are all their other wines. It's a beautiful setting to sit outside and look out over the vineyards (you can make a reservation). I also love the roadside Wine Stand! The Wine Stand holds a sunset event every Friday and Saturday through September. -
Drink
The Surf Lodge
This is one of the most popular spots in Montauk for good reason! You can sip drinks by the water, float in daybeds, listen to live music, and have an all-around good time day and night. You can’t beat all the surf décor too! P.S. expect major lines on the weekends if you don’t arrive early.

Stay
Gurney's Resort and Seawater Spa
Stay here for a beachfront resort with the only seawater spa in the continental US. You’ll fall in love with their yellow and white striped umbrellas that line the beach and their beachside shack that serves up all the necessities like rosé and french fries. My friends and I are known to camp out here on the beach all day.

Drive along Montauk Highway
More like a road than a highway, drive along here with your windows down to take in the sea air. Stop off in each town because each has different things to offer (South Hampton, Bridgehampton, Sag Harbor, Sagaponack, East Hampton, Amagansett, and Montauk). End your drive at the Montauk Lighthouse. My favorite town in Sag Harbor (more on that below). -
Do
Montauk Lighthouse
Commissioned to be built my George Washington in 1792, this gorgeous lighthouse is a beautiful place to snap photos, take in a tiny bit of history, and get a little exercise as you climb the 137 stairs to the top of the lighthouse for wraparound ocean views at the end of Long Island. -

Explore Sag Harbor
I admit, Sag Harbor is my favorite of the Hamptons towns because it is the quintessential American harbor town. The main drag, properly named Main Street, is lined with light posts adorned with hanging flower baskets and American flags. There are a number of cute shops and restaurants too! At the end of Main Street your eyes grow wide as you see all the boats docked in the beautiful Harbor. The whole experience is straight out of an American novel. -
Do
Wölffer Estate Vineyard or Wine Stand
The vineyard has multiple different amazing experiences to offer (I love them all!). Visit the Estate for a traditional wine tasting with food available and beautiful vineyard views. Visit the Wine Stand for a more casual experience… you can buy your favorite bottle of wine and sip it on their picnic tables. Lastly, go during the evening every Friday and Saturday through September for their sunset events (think live music). In the fall, they hold other special events like yoga in the vines. -
Do
SoulCycle Barn
If you love spinning and/or SoulCycle, then you must take a class at the SoulCycle Barn location! The location is housed in an old barn and is different than other locations because the studio room is bright and inspired (opposed to a dark room), which feels so natural and fresh for summer in the Hamptons. -

Beach Day
My favorite beach in the Hampton is definitely Sagg Main Beach in Sagaponack! This is where my family goes so it's where I've always gone + it's so beautiful! Other beaches in the Hamptons that are super popular are Cooper's Beach in Southampton, Main Beach in East Hampton, Atlantic Avenue Beach and Indian Wells Beach in Amagansett, Montauk Point State Beach, and Hither Hills State Beach in Montauk. At all of them, expect white sand and beautiful seagrass. -
Do
Farm Stands
Farm stands dot the Hamptons so you can pick up the freshest, yummiest local produce, seafood, and dairy! We stay in Sag Harbor and we love to pick up fresh seafood from Serene Green Farm Stand, fresh produce & the best guacamole from Country Garden, fresh corn from Pike Farm Stand, and fresh fruit at Milk Pail (the farmsteads are so great if you're staying at or renting a house).
