Atlanta
I love Atlanta and think the city has so much more to offer than most folks realize! My Dad is from Atlanta and my entire family on my dad’s side still lives in Georgia so I grew up spending a lot of time in the Peach State. My sister also called Atlanta home for a number of years after college. As such, I definitely know my way around a neighborhood or two. Atlanta is home to so many amazing restaurants, some fabulous fashion boutiques and home stores (along with the world’s largest monthly indoor antique show), a few noteworthy historical sights, and gorgeous historic neighborhoods (like Buckhead) that are beautiful to drive through. If you find yourself in Atlanta for work or another reason, definitely read my guide and pencil in a little extra time for some play!

Serena & Lily
Serena & Lily is my favorite mainstream (I think the brand is considered mainstream now, no?) home brand. The inspired, relaxed yet refined line is so wonderful because all of the bedding, furniture, décor, nursery items, rugs and more maintain a certain sense of luxury while still ringing true to the brand’s casual California roots. Pop into their Westside Provisions District location.

Piedmont Park
Go for a leisurely walk or run through Piedmont Park on a nice day (especially in the fall when the leaves are changing or the spring with the cherry blossoms are blooming). There is also a Saturday morning farmer's Market and if you're lucky you'll be in town for a concert in the park.
