Deck the Halls

filed under:

As the holiday season begins, I feel an undeniable thrill in transforming our house into a festive wonderland of a home. It’s hard not to want to deck the halls with the most enchanting Christmas decor that captures the spirit of the season. From timeless classics to contemporary delights, the merry selection in this post promises to infuse every corner of your space with warmth and holiday cheer. Cheery garlands dance along the mantel and the scent of freshly adorned evergreen wreaths fills the air, creating a cozy atmosphere that welcomes both friends and family.

For Christmas trees, I love adorning them with a mix of cherished heirloom ornaments and new additions that reflect each passing year. The tree should stand as a radiant centerpiece, promising to be a source of joy and wonder for all who gather around it (speaking of centerpieces, have you ever seen two more beautiful centerpieces than these two vintage-inspired trees: one and two?). Whether it’s a whimsical nutcracker figurine or elegant candle holders, I’ve chosen each piece with care to contribute to the festive merriment that makes a home a haven of holiday magic. So, let it be known, it’s time to deck the halls and let your home radiate with the boundless joy of Christmas.

A random under appreciated item that I need to update are our stocking holders. I love the simple understated look of these stocking holders. They do the job, the gold brass color is cheery, and they don’t take any focus off of stockings or mantle decor. I also just ordered these twinkle light balls to hang outside in our loquat tree. I can’t wait to give our outdoor space a little more holiday cheer.

Gnomes are known as symbols of good luck. In folklore, they provide protection, especially of buried treasure and minerals in the ground. Another excuse to drink Champagne.
