Colorblock Sweater

filed under:

I found the sweater of my dreams… I can now retire from blogging. My public service work is done. Just kidding, I’m not going anywhere but I am serious in my claim that this colorblock sweater is the sweater of my dreams. For lack of a better word, I think it’s super chic. I absolutely love the color palette and the fur stripe is exactly the type of fun pop I like to incorporate into my wardrobe. P.S. keep reading this post for a special shopping discount code for Rhyme & Reason readers…!

I’m wearing a size small but I think I probably could have bought the sweater in a size extra small too because of it’s boxy fit. I like the fit though because I hate cropped sweaters and the length on this guy is just right.

I love my little arm party. My pearl bracelet is going to be a staple of my dressed up and dressed down holiday wardrobe! It’s already such a great price but the designer of it, Kiel James Patrick, is offering Rhyme & Reason readers 15% off using code JILLIANKJP. The discount code is good for everything on KJP’s site! I’m also wearing my Charleston rice beads bracelet (the same one I gave to all my bridesmaids!).

You saw me wear these earrings in the outfit I posted of my must-have coat of the season. Well, I love them so much that I wore them again with this look. I think the colorblock sweater has a bold look so I decided to keep the boldness going with my deep blue statement earrings. However, I also think the sweater would look amazing with just a simple stud earring… the sweater definitely looks more like the standout piece of an outfit when styled that way.

I happily busted out my black jeans when October started. I have this pair of jeans with a bit of distress but I also have this exact same pair of Frame black jeans without any distressing. There is also an identical pair of jeans with lots of distressing if you’re looking for that look. Either way you can’t go wrong. I think Frame jeans are the most comfortable jeans out there!

Down below, I linked a handful of super similar leopard flats. It’s no secret that I love a pop of leopard (proof: one, two, three, four)! This pair is a classic (under $100) while this pair brings the fun (under $70).
