This little white dress makes me want to twirl all around the city like I did when I made this Charleston flower run! I love a good flouncy dress or a dress with a beautiful flutter bottom. So I knew this dress had a place in my closet the moment I laid eyes on it. I was so drawn to the dress too because it has an everyday air to it (especially with a denim jacket layered on) but also can easily be dressed up for spring brunches, parties, and holidays like Easter and Mother’s Day (I always think seasonally down the line with my shopping!).
P.S. sorry for so many photos today… I honestly couldn’t narrow them down because I’m too smitten with the flowers!

My white dress is currently on sale for $70… yippee (it also comes in navy and orange)! It’s such a no brainer and would look perfect with flat sandals, espadrilles, and heels depending on the occasion. Elizabeth McKay also has a few more dresses on sale that I just love (like this dress) as well as some stunningly adorable new arrivals (hello, I love you and you!). If you’re thinking about adding my white dress to your closet, note that I generally wear a size 0 or 2 and am wearing a size 2 in this dress.
This dress is by one of my go-to dress designers, Elizabeth McKay. You’ve seen me wear one of her dresses on R&R before when I wore this gorgeous pink and white dress back in California. It’s still one of my favorite dresses! I can always trust Elizabeth McKay when I’m looking for a feminine, polished, and timeless piece. She makes the most beautiful dresses but I also love her tops!
I’ve had this scarf for years and years. I love tying it around my neck or on a bag for an extra punch of fun. It’s a really interesting but simple way to put a twist on your spring outfits. The pink and blue colors together make for my perfect color combo too! Based on the shape and size of my scarf, I tied it on by folding it into a triangle. I then wrapped it around my neck, leaving the middle triangle point in the front. Next, I lopped the side triangle points around and tied them together in the front. It creates a bit of a layered scarf look. Which I love (although mine is a little lopsided in some of these photos!). Since my scarf is old, I found a handful of similar options here: one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight.
My Charleston flower run outfit was made complete by my raffia shoes, my classic denim jacket and my blush top-handle purse (similar for less: one, two). I slipped the jacket on when the sun started to set as it’s my perfect spring layer! I’m also absolutely in love with the light wash of my jacket. My raffia shoes are from last year but I adore these three similar styles: one, two, three. I got SO much wear out of my shoes last spring and summer and plan to again this year. I can’t recommend the fresh raffia style enough!
