Spring is alive and well in Los Angeles! The sun is out, flowers are blooming, and I’m starting to wear all my colorful dresses. I really took advantage of the Shopbop Sale (here and here) a few weeks ago because it was the perfect time to scoop up new spring pieces at a discount right as the season was starting. One of the items that I couldn’t resist getting was this blue maxi dress. I knew I’d wear it constantly in California and I had visions of me throwing it on multiple times during my two-week spring break to Charleston and Harbour Island in April.

Blue is my favorite color so this dress was a must for me from the moment I saw it (it also comes in stripes but is almost sold out!)! I love it even more after wearing it as the light gauzy material is so soft and comfortable. I envision myself dressing it down and wearing it over swimsuits to the beach this summer and I also plan to dress it up like I did here to wear out to brunches with the girls or dinner with Edwin. I got the petite size because I’m not super tall (5’4”) and it is the absolute perfect fit on me. I also love a few other similar DVF spring dresses that I rounded up here:
This basket bag is about to be on constant rotation for me until next fall. I downright love it! The purse is a nice size as I can fit everything I need for a full day out an about including my sunnies, wallet, phone, lip gloss, keys, and more. It just screams sundrenched spring and summer days and will go with every single outfit that I’m planning to bring to Harbour Island in April. I also love these five similar basket bags: one, two, three, four, five. In fact, I’m loving the basket bag trend so much right now that I wrote a whole dedicated post on it here and found a bunch more similar ones here:
I’ve had these earrings forever and still always reach for them. Since they are a few years old they aren’t available anymore but I found four very similar pairs: one, two, three, four. I’ve had my eye on these platform sandals for so long now that I can’t even remember. I finally caved and bought them during the recent Shopbop sale. I’m so happy I did! They fit true to size and are completely comfortable as all Loeffler Randal shoes are. I searched around and found a couple similar styles that are more wallet friendly too including these three lookalikes: one, two, three + more below:
