At the beginning of the month, I shared my Guide to Charleston Beaches in anticipation of beautiful spring weather and balmy summer weather. Edwin and I have already taken advantage of some of the warmers days we’ve had this month with time on the beach. We absolutely love bringing Maybelle to the play in the surf and sand, especially in the mornings as it sets a lovely tone for the whole day to come. So recently, we snuck out to Sullivan’s Island for beach day with my monogrammed beach tote, aka my newest beach necessity!

So don’t get me wrong, I love a good straw bag for the beach but as a monogram lover, I’d always had my eye on a canvas monogrammed tote for the beach. Depending on the straw bag, it can get sand inside. So I’m finding that I really love this durable tote that can hold everything. It’s also super sturdy, and can handle all the elements (aka sun, sunscreen, sand etc.). You may remember me revealing my longstanding favorite shopping destination for monogrammed pieces, Things Remembered, in this Easter Brunch post. Well, you guessed it. All my monogrammed items from this beach day are new pieces I scooped up from the retailer.
Don’t forget, if it’s not moving, monogram it!
I really dove head first into my recent monogram purchases. Honestly I think it’s because of the excitement of having a new monogram after getting married! I added this navy blue hat (comes in 7 colors), this towel, this insulated bottle (you can kind of see the etching that says “The Eversoles”), and this stripe cosmetic case (comes in two prints) to my beach bag. I always like to pack a little cosmetic case for the beach to keep all my sunscreens (face, body, and lip), lotion, and comb in one secure place instead of having everything loose and flying around my beach bag. The insulated bottle is great for keeping Edwin’s coffee warm in the morning, my water cool during the day, and our white wine chilled during the evening. Edwin has been stealing it for more than just the beach!
My top and shorts are both old. So I rounded up some similar blue and white styles for y’all so you can snag the look. Also I included my current beach read, Still Me, as well as the sunglasses I’m wearing non-stop. Everything is beach approved!
