A few weeks ago I went to Boulder for Homecoming with my college friends. I’m SO thankful for homecoming every year because not only does it give me a reason to see some of my best friends but it also gives me a reason to experience a true fall (sorry but fall in Los Angeles just doesn’t cut it). I already posted this über fall outfit of me playing in piles of fall leaves so now I’m sharing another look from my trip at maybe the prettiest spot in all of Boulder, Chautauqua Park. So, let’s do this: my Barbour Jacket in Boulder…
My Barbour jacket is one of my main wardrobe staples. I wear it season after season, year after year. I have the Barbour Beadnell jacket but I love every jacket by Barbour. I would definitely not hate it if another Barbour jacket style made it’s way into my closet.
My parents took a big trip to Ireland last year with a bunch of couples (#goals) and my mom brought me home this amazing scarf. I’m in love with the fact that I can pattern mix when I wear it without even having to try as one side of the scarf is plaid and one side of the scarf is houndstooth. Since this scarf is from Ireland it isn’t available but I’m SO happy to say that I was able to find 4 super similar scarves with the exact same look: one, two, three, four. Number one is my favorite!
I wear my Hunter boots all the time in the fall and winter! You’ve seen me wear them in the fall here and in the winter here + here. This year, I’d really love to add a bright red pair to my closet because, how cute!? Hunter boots come in a few different versions but the most important decision you’ll have to make is if you want them in gloss or matte. My pair are black matte.
Cozy sweaters are my best friends come October. I got this white turtleneck sweater at my favorite boutique in Jackson, Terra, when I was in Jackson Hole in early October. I couldn’t find it anywhere on the internet but I did find about five other super similar white turtleneck sweaters for you so you can snag the look – one, two, three, four, five (+ a few more in the product scroll below).
How beautiful is Chautauqua Park in Boulder!? If you take a trip to Boulder then I can’t recommend going up to Chautauqua enough. The entrance to Chautauqua is right at the top of the neighborhood called The Hill but the whole city of Boulder is set against the backdrop of the flatiron mountains so you always get to experience the views of Chautauqua. I love hiking Chautauqua when I’m in town and I love going to the Chautauqua Dinning Hall at the base of the hike for a fun meal. One of my best friends had her bridesmaid brunch there before her wedding and it was beautiful!
Jacket (I truly love every Barbour jacket) / Sweater (similar, similar, similar) / Scarf (from Ireland – similar, similar, similar) / Jeans (similar for under $70, similar) / Boots (also love the boots in gloss)
