Achieve Your New Year’s Resolutions In Style

filed under:

I haven’t shared any specific New Year’s resolutions on here yet because I haven’t really set any. To be completely honest, last year I was SO SO focused on and motivated by my resolutions from about January – March (huh, sound familiar anyone?) but (what I’m about to say sounds terrible, I know) I feel like I’m almost too busy for resolutions this year. I have so many projects right now that I personally feel like it will be more beneficial for me to take every week one at a time instead of focusing on strict resolutions like getting in a set amount of workouts or a set amount of hours on Rhyme & Reason or a set amount of wedding tasks etc. In general, I’d like to be the best version of myself – relationships, health, work, blog, time, sleep, finances, wedding, graduate school, travel… etc. In 2016, I hit the second half of my twenties and with that, I’ve found that I’m realistically looking much further down the road than I ever have before. I now have thoughts like “I want to travel here soon before I start a family” or “I want to try this because it will give me a better idea of where Edwin and I should/could live.” My “bucket list” has become more “real” to me as of late because, in my personal life, I crave more “adult” things instead of just fun and games. Since turning 26 and then getting engaged right afterwards, I am truly making decisions for two now instead of just one. So, for 2017, I want to be the best version of myself because I’m officially half of a team now! Without further rambling, I’ve selected some products that I think will give us all a little boost in becoming the best versions of ourselves and help you achieve your New Year’s resolutions in style.

P.S. even though I haven’t set any real New Year’s resolutions, I have been very motivated by the new year. I’ve cleaned out my entire bathroom (goodbye expired products and beauty samples!), my fridge, my closet, underneath my bed, my jewelry boxes, and some miscellaneous drawers. My next project is to reorganize my filing system! Good luck with all your new year projects and resolutions!
