A few short weeks ago, I had the privilege of enjoying a sensational dinner party with Juliska to celebrate the opening of their flagship store and wedding registry boutique in Charleston. When I say sensational, I truly mean that. It was a joy to raise a glass to a brand and business I love. When we registered for our wedding 6 years ago, we registered for Juliska’s Berry & Thread pattern for our everyday china. To this day, we use it everyday. Aand I can absolutely say that I love it as much now as I did then.
I only wish Juliska’s gorgeous wedding registry boutique (the second floor of their flagship store) existed when I registered. As you can see in the below photos, it is gorgeous. The walls are lined with all of Juliska’s patterns so you can play around with all the patterns and design your own personal collection.
The night with Juliska was made more sensational by the ambiance.
In addition of the gorgeous store, the dinner party portion of the night was a real show-stopper. The food from The Drifter was absolutely sublime and the tablescape was unlike anything I’d ever seen before. Capucine De Wulf, the creative mind behind Juliska, designed the table to be a garden parterre built with real grass and flowers! It was stunning. Each guest designed their own table setting by getting to play around with and mix and match pieces from Juliska’s wonderful array of patterns.
All of this plus the fantastic company made for truly a sensational dinner party with Juliska. Perhaps my favorite part was hearing about Capucine’s family’s French heritage and the inspiration she gathered from her family to start her company. She has built such an incredible business based on her family’s history and legacy.
Below are some snaps from the night by the ever talented Ann Rhett as well as some Juliska favorites of mine.
