A Pop Of Coral on Rhyme & Reason

A Pop Of Coral

filed under:

I more often than not gravitate toward a blue and white color palette (hello, this outfit!) but this spring I’ve been really inspired by bright rays of yellow, tangerine, coral, and pink. So, when I saw these ankle strap heels (similarsimilarsimilar) at the M.Gemi Soho pop-up back in February, I knew they’d provide the perfect pop of coral for my spring wardrobe.

I hope you saw and entered my jewelry giveaway with my favorite online vintage jewelry destination, Sweet & Spark. I was so excited because I gave away a $100 gift certificate to one lucky winner! I got my gorgeous sparkly blue and white brooch from Sweet & Spark earlier this year and have had so much fun thinking of different, creative ways to style it.

I adore eyelet so much! When I saw this eyelet midi length skirt earlier this spring I instantly fell in love (I also love this similar skirt). I’m planning to wear it again on Easter too so stay tuned to see how I style it this weekend on my Instagram story. Eyelet is so feminine and so my style… just a must all around!

The heel on these sandals (similarsimilarsimilar) is pretty thick so they are way more comfortable to wear than a lot of heels out there. At first, I thought I’d only be able to wear these shoes when I wanted to make a special statement but, after having them for a little while, I realize the pop of coral can be worn with simple outfits like this blue and white one or with matching outfits like colorful floral dresses (one, two, three, four, five). Be aware that the heels run a tad small so you should size up a 1/2 size. Also, if the shoes are sold out in your size, then just join the waitlist because they are being restocked soon!

  1. That skirt is so pretty! I have a similar one and I can’t wait to break it out now that the weather is a little better in NYC. Anddd this outfit has convinced me I need a brooch! Such a chic touch.
